Project Officer

Newcastle United Foundation is looking for a project officer to deliver a range of cross curricular Foundation programmes in Primary and Secondary schools which use the Newcastle United brand to engage, educate and inspire pupils to reach their potential.  The sucessful candidate will plan, deliver, monitor and review high quality lessons in subjects including Personal Social Health Education (PSHE), Physical Education (PE), Business and Enterprise and Personal Social Development. Lessons will delivered in the classroom or on a football pitch/sports hall.

You will contribute to the development of new projects/delivery resources to increase the effectiveness and quality of lesson delivery, and assist in data collection and data entry to support monitoring and evaluation to ensure all outputs and outcomes are achieved and reported on.

Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to join the Foundation at a key point in our development.  Reporting to the Head of Foundation, the Marketing Manager will amplify the work of the Foundation to increase participants and income across all programmes.  With a strong focus on digital marketing, they will play a key role in supporting the recruitment of new supporters, donors and customers.  A key objective will be to support an increase in commercial activity, ensuring that all sales opportunities are robustly explored and maximised.  

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a marketing role in any sector with the ability to lead and report on creative digital marketing campaigns.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to write compelling copy is essential and video/photography skills would be advantageous.

Newcastle United Foundation accepts work experience students throughout the year. Unfortunately, due to the extremely high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to accommodate all requests. When writing a request please include the following information:

  • Dates of work experience
  • Name of school attendant
  • Why are you interested in work experience at the Foundation
  • What previous experience you may have in the field you are looking for
  • What you hope to get out of the week

University placements will be assessed on an individual basis.
