Lewis Miley kicks off Newcastle United Foundation summer Holiday Courses

Newcastle United’s Lewis Miley has taken time out of his busy pre-season schedule to visit Newcastle United Foundation summer Holiday Courses.

Miley was on hand to celebrate the first week of the Foundation’s Holiday Courses during the summer break, distributing custom Newcastle United medals to each aspiring young player to round off four days of skill-building on the pitch.

The England Under-21 international also joined young people on the pitch to answer questions about his career coming through Newcastle United’s Academy, training with his teammates and his pride in playing for the Magpies.

Holiday Courses, delivered by Newcastle United Foundation, run throughout the school holidays at venues across the North East, providing four full days of fun football activities, skills challenges and lots of small-sided games.

Suitable for children of all abilities aged five to 13, Holiday Courses engage young people in physical activity during the break – encouraging children to make new friends on the football pitch, boosting confidence and learning new skills.

Spaces are available for Newcastle United Foundation Holiday Courses throughout the summer holidays at venues including Alnwick, Ashington, Consett, Berwick, Gosforth, Hexham, North Shields with wrapround options to suit busy family life – book a Holiday Course near you.
