Our vision is a thriving Newcastle and North East where everyone we meet has the opportunity to succeed.

Building on almost two decades of community delivery, the strategy will increase the depth and sustainability of our impact, focus support where it is needed most and strengthen the organisation behind our work.

Working alongside Newcastle United, our partners and communities, we will turn this ambition into action – creating more opportunities, tackling inequality and measuring the difference we make across the region.

The strategy follows the successful completion of our previous three-year business plan. In the last season alone, we delivered 60,000 hours of activity, supported 633 young people and adults into employment and provided education support in 93 schools across the North East.

Our work generates an estimated £30.9 million in social value – equivalent to £7 of social benefit for every £1 invested – demonstrating the real and lasting difference we create across the region.

Alongside frontline delivery, we will strengthen the partnerships, facilities, people, income and systems that make sustainable community impact possible.

We will deepen our strategic partnership with Newcastle United, bringing supporters closer to the Foundation’s purpose and harnessing the power of the club and football to connect with more people.

We will also invest in accessible, sustainable community spaces and develop our existing venues to generate income that can be reinvested in our work. An inclusive, skilled and confident workforce – supported by stronger technology, data and impact systems – will help us measure progress and continually improve.
