Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall kick off Newcastle United Foundation summer Holiday Courses

Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall have taken time out of their busy pre-season schedule to visit Newcastle United Foundation summer Holiday Courses.

The opportunity to meet Livramento and Hall kicked off the first week of the Foundation’s Holiday Courses with the pair joining children on the pitch to answer questions about their careers, teammates and playing for United.

Young people were also able to quiz Livramento on his experience being part of the England Under-21 squad that won the UEFA Under-21 European Championships in Slovakia this summer, as well as being named in the Team of the Tournament.

Holiday Courses delivered by Newcastle United Foundation run throughout the school holidays at venues across the North East, providing four full days of fun football activities, skills challenges and lots of small-sided games.

Kallum Percy, Football Development Coordinator at Newcastle United Foundation, said: “Tino and Lewis coming along to our Holiday Courses has been a great experience for all the young people spending their summer break with us.

“We are proud to provide unique opportunities like this for our communities and to engage children in physical activities over the school holidays. We know the young people here will take home some great memories.”

Suitable for children of all abilities aged five to 12, Holiday Courses engage young people in physical activity during the break – encouraging children to make new friends on the football pitch, boosting confidence and learning new skills.

Spaces are available for Newcastle United Foundation Holiday Courses throughout the summer holidays at venues including Alnwick, Ashington, Consett, Berwick, Gosforth, Hexham, North Shields – book a Holiday Course near you.
